BIO:
Born 1966 in Sandomierz, studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk (now the Academy of Fine Arts). Diploma at the Department of Sculpture in the studio of Prof. Stanislaw Radwanski in 1996. He received his doctoral degree in 2011. Since 2013, he has been an assistant at the Faculty of Sculpture and Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in the Studio of Fundamentals of Sculpture with Prof. J. Szczypka. In 2019, he was awarded a postdoctoral degree. He has been working creatively for many years, using wood, stone, ceramics, plastics and metal for his works. He has completed several large-format projects. He has participated in more than a dozen individual and collective exhibitions, sculpture plein-airs in Poland and abroad, competitions for monumental sculptures and statuettes. His recent realizations, objects and installations are clearly journalistic and critical in nature. He consciously echoes literalism, using realistic means of expression. He also often uses a ready-made object.
