BIO:
A native of Lodz, born in 1983. Graduate of the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź and the Tadeusz Makowski State High School of Fine Arts in Łódź. Currently, as a research and teaching employee, he teaches students in the Studio of Small Sculptural Forms and the Department of Sculpture Propedeutics at the Institute of Sculpture, Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. Privately, he designs under the name ID.FOR.FUN. His most important achievement is a monumental steel sculpture measuring 8 meters and weighing more than 9 tons, "The Ring," created in 2018 during the Chengdu International Sister City Sculpture Festival - Chengdu in theWorld andthe World inChengdu, China. "The Ring" is a sculpture that opens a series of 24 realizations from around the world. The work is on permanent display at the Tianfu Greenway Park. The sculpture symbolizes cooperation and cultural exchange between sister cities: Lodz and Chengdu. In 2019 ,it received a certificate of authenticity and a Lodz Eureka award in the "Art" category from the Lodz Scientific Society. Jaroslaw Bork's work is characterized by aesthetics from under the sign of synthetic geometry and a graphic approach to space.
